Spiritual Advisory Board

The Sri Kamakhya Mahavidya Mandir is advised in matters of Shakta Tantra tradition and ritual procedures by a Spiritual Advisory Board. The rules for qualifications, election, and membership of this honorary body are elaborated in the bylaws of the Mandir.

Tantrikacharyas of the Spiritual Advisory Board provide spiritual guidance to the Sri Kamakhya Mahavidya Mandir in matters of the religious traditions and rituals of Kamakhya, occasionally providing direct assistance to devotees.

Sri Kamala Ranjan Bhattacharyya and Sri Sadhan Bhattacharyya are brothers in an ancestral lineage of gurus at Kamakhya responsible for passing on and maintaining the traditions of the Tantrika kula. We are greatly blessed and honored to have their support and grace.
Tantrikacharya Sri Jadu Nath Sarma Co-Chair	Tantrikacharya Srimati Banalata Devi Co-Chair
Sri Jadu Nath Sarma and Srimati Banalata Devi live in Guwahati, Assam (India), part of an ancient family of Chandipathaks, temple priests who are responsible for the invocation of the Goddess through recitation of the sacred Chandi (Durga Saptasati or Devi Mahatmyam) at the Sri Sri Kamakhya Temple, including the other Mahavidya temples in the Nilachala Hills. They are Purnabhisheka Sadhakas (full adepts) of the Tantrika Kula in the Sri Sri Kamakhya Tradition, and are founding members of our Spiritual Advisory Board, where they serve in official capacity.
